18th December 2008:

  • Congratulations to Credo for winning the 2008/2009 tournament season's Mixed Nationals title! Congratulations are also due to Who's Who picking up the plate, to Ethos for winning the spirit prize, to James for putting on an excellent party and to Kat for her tireless efforts as Tournament Director.   • Beach Ultimate game, 2008/12/21

    This Sunday we're having an end of year beach Ultimate game, followed by a barbecue at Kat and Sammy's place. Meet at the end of Rawhiti Ave on the Marine Parade in New Brighton at 3:30pm (click through to an interactive map on Google).

  • The firstleague is now finished. Apple won, with Melon coming second, due to all the other teams failing to field six players at the final! Grape took the spirit prize. Mana won female MVP, and Eric won male MVP.
  • Mondays now revert to pick up until the new year, with some training heading up to the Mixed Nationals tournement.

6th October 2008:

  • The new summer league details are up. It's never too late to sign up for a team, so contact Vanessa if you're interested.

2nd October 2008:

  • Daylight Savings has started, which means it's time for a new summer league! The league will be running from 6pm Mondays on the Ilam Fields, with games starting at 6:30pm. Contact Vanessa James to sign up. All players welcome. Cost to be announced.
  • Playing times and places have also switched for the summer. See the Playing Times section for details and maps.
  • Everybody's favorite South island beach tournament, Flat Out at Nelson Beach is coming up on the 22nd of November. Sign up, contact Vanessa about accommodation, and get in touch with other Christchurch people to arrange the road trip there and back. This year's theme is (still) pirates.
  • Mixed Nationals is being hosted in Christchurch on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of December. We're looking to put together three teams if possible, including a social grade team, so come along to the open training sessions on Thursdays at 6pm if you're interested in playing, or would just like to improve your play.
  • There are plenty of other tournaments coming up this summer. Check out the Important Dates box to the left for the links.
  • Finally, congratulations to Credo for picking up a close third place at the Indoor Nationals in Palmerston North on th 13th and 14th September. Congratulations, also, to the social grade team for picking up a respectable 11th out of 27 social grade teams, with only five players on the team.

15th July 2008:

  • The second Indoors League is in full swing, and the third league will start 11th August and run until daylight savings starts in late September. $35 covers both leagues.
